Well another good few months have gone by and it seems that I am busier than ever and can never find enough hours in the day to do everything I need to lol.  Since the AGM last year I have now taken in the roles of Club Treasurer, Welfare Sub-committee and Membership Secretary, so this takes a lot of my time up now. I really must look at getting a Time Management study done to see how I can manage my day effectively lol.

This year has been a very good year for my breeding:-  Tann owned by Judith Dawes has won 1st PD and BPIB at Manchester, 1st JD and RCC at WPB Wales, 1st JD and DCC at NWPBS and then 1st JD, DCC and BOB at WKC in August. He now lies on 2 CCs and I wait with baited breath as after 16 years in the breed I am on the verge of having bred my first champion.

Kuma who lives with the Syvret family in Jersey has also been doing well, and Ian Hutchinson has been handling her for the family, she has so far been shown and placed as follows:

Nov 2013, , Judge John Feehan, Leonberger Club of GB Champ Show, Reserve Minor Puppy Bitch
January 2014, Judge John S. Thirlwell, Kennel Club of Jersey Members Show, Group 1 Puppy 14th Best Puppy in Show, Group 1 Working 7th Best in Show
March 2014, Judge Sue Searle, Kennel Club of Jersey Winter Championship Show, Group 1 Puppy in working group, Group 3 Working Group, Best Junior in Group, Best Novice in Group
June 2014, Judge Gerald Mitchell, Kennel Club of Jersey Spring Championship Show, Group 2 Working, Reserve CC, Best Junior in Group, Best Yearling in Group
August 2014, Judge Barry D. Day, Kennel Club of Jersey Summer Championship Show, Group 1 Working,  Jersey CC, Best Junior in Group, Best Yearling in Group, 3rd Best Yearling in Show

Tegan was mated back in February but unfortunately she did not take, so I entered her at Blackpool and I could not believe it when she walked away with a CC and BOB. I was a bag of nerves going into the Main Ring for the Working Group but Tegan was a true show girl and did not let me down and showed herself off which was hard going as it was a very hot day for her. I am so proud of her as she always gives me 100%.  She then came into season in August and I have mated her with Logan (Vectiseleon Dream Spirit) and I am hoping that this time we will be successful, only time will tell now.  It is a milestone for my breeding as this combination is now my two lines being merged together and has taken me 16 years to get to this point and I hope all goes to plan !!!!

Jayda has had a huge moult and lost pretty much all of her coat, but it is now coming back in slowly and I have entered her for Midland Counties in October I only hope she does not decide to have a season lol She is a beautiful girl, the darkest red and black coat and her dark mask and very dark eyes are enough to melt anyone's heart lol and she does get away with murder most of the time lol.

Howi has now been to the vets and I have had him castrated, and I hope now that life will be much easier with him and the girls.  He is my first ever male and I have to admit he has completely stolen my heart. He is a real clown and his temperament is fantastic, and not a bad bone in his body, he loves everyone and everything and he makes me laugh everyday with his antics xxx

The new LPN2 test is now available and so I had Jayda, Logan and Tegan tested and they are all N/N, Roxy was also N/N and Eyhsa was a D/N for this test.  Neither of these two have ever been bred from, but I had the test done for them out of interest.
